An active and independent life is important for everyone no matter the age. There are many hazards and situations which can become a challenge and require a bit more effort both physically and mentally as we get older.
Anybody no matter the age, ability or circumstance can do something to remain active and achieve realistic health and fitness goals. Improvements are possible when undertaking the correct type of exercise at the appropriate level.
Each session will cover different aspects of exercise for the older adult which will involve some theory and practical component.
Session 1 - Foundations of fitness: Tuesday, 7 January, 10-11.30am
Session 2 - Middle management: Thursday, 9 January, 10-11.30am
Session 3 - Fancy footwork: Tuesday, 14 January, 10-11.30am
Session 4 - Fun and function: Thursday, 16 January, 10-11.30am
