Illustration workshop with Freda Chiu

Make a whimsical creature with illustrator and author, Freda Chiu. Using simple print-making techniques, Freda will show participants how to use a combination of stencils, shapes, pattern and collage to create bold and unexpected designs.

More about Freda: Freda Chiu is an award nominated Chinese-Australian children’s author and illustrator based in Western Sydney. Freda makes art that is colourful and humorous with a quirky edge, but always with heart. Alongside publishing, Freda’s work spans editorial illustration, public art installation, campaigns and retail graphics.

Free event, bookings essential. Children must be in school years K-3.
