Nia dance movement
In Nia, we don’t just move the body for the purpose of physical exercise.
- We move to feel alive.
- We move to express emotion.
- We move to calm the mind.
- We move to connect with our spirit - our uniqueness and our creativity.
In the Nia practice, we believe that movement isn’t supposed to be punishment — it’s meant to satisfy the deep human need for JOY.
Yes, you'll get stronger, more flexible, more mobile, confident and agile. These are all real and highly beneficial side effects. But the real reason you’ll keep coming back? Because it feels good.
When movement is rooted in pleasure, rhythm, expression, and connection — like it is in Nia — your body starts to crave it. It becomes less about discipline and more about delight. Less about forcing yourself, and more about returning home to your body.
This is an adults only class, all adult bodies are welcome.
