The Bee Squad with Dr Judy Friedlander

Do you love bees, birds, and butterflies? Author Dr Judy Friedlander will talk about how children around Australia are taking charge, learning about amazing native species and the ways to protect them. Through a mix of information sharing and hands-on activities, children will learn practical ways to make a difference from their own backyard or balcony. Everyone will build a blue-banded bee house to take home to their own garden.

Copies of The Bee Squad will be available for purchase and signing on the day, offering additional activities, and a toolkit to keep the learning going. Book sales provided by Three Sparrows Books.

Children must be in school years 3-6. Free event, bookings essential.
