Mitchell Brennan is a marine scientist at the University of Technology, Sydney and Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS), where he leads the Sydney Seahorse Project – a world-leading conservation program focused on protecting one of Australia’s endemic seahorse species. With a background in marine ecology and a passion for restoring underwater habitats, Mitchell plays a key role in the restoring seahorse populations, deploying seahorse hotels and monitoring efforts across Sydney Harbour and Kamay (Botany Bay).
