Mosman Celebrates Australia Day

Allan Border Oval will host a celebration of community and Aussie spirit with free entertainment, family-friendly games and activities, and a barbecue hosted by Mosman Council in partnership with the Lions Club.

This community event will follow a citizenship ceremony for new citizens held at Allan Border Oval Pavilion and an Australia Day Address by Mosman's Australia Day Ambassador. Mosman's 2026 Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year will also be announced.

The community event to follow will include a free barbecue, acoustic live music provided by a local young person/people, Australian native themed face painting, and outdoor entertainment and experiences, including classic sideshow games and activities in an interactive outdoor space. The event will be open to all community members and free to attend.
