Mini-Mos Marathon all ages race

2024 Mini-Mos Marathon and Fair

The Mini-Mos Community Fun Run, now in its 42nd year is one of the Mosman community’s premier events, raising funds for Mosman Public School (MPS) and its nominated charities. Featuring 2km, 5km and 10km road races around the streets of Mosman and the Mini-Mos Fair. Mini-Mos has been a celebrated event on Sydney’s North Shore for over 40 years. The event gains widespread community support and is attended by children of all ages, parents, corporate teams, sporting enthusiasts and elite athletes.

The event is an IAAF-AIMS certified, fully marshalled 10km race through the picturesque closed-off streets of Mosman with a range of categories for amatuer and profesional runners. The race offers cash prizes of $500, $750, and $1500 to the first three male and female finishers, with an additional $250 if the course record is broken.

For elite athletes, we offer a preferred start just before the main race. This start is allocated to the first 25 males with a verifiable 10km time of 36:00 or less and the first 25 females with a verifiable 10km time of 40:00 or less.

Past ambassadors have included Olympic runners Herb Elliott, Melinda Gainsford-Taylor and Matt Shirvington, endurance runner Pat Farmer, Olympic rower Dan Noonan and world champion hurdler Erica Costa Cordeiro. We are very grateful to our 2024 Ambassadors, Owain Matthews and Ed Goddard.

The Mini-Mos is organised by volunteers raising funds for the local school and boasts a dedicated team with a passion for running.
