Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds: Library Open Day
Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds is a coordinated statewide Library Open Day, delivered by NSW Public Libraries Association and the State Library of NSW during Library and Information Week.
Visit Barry O'Keefe Library on Thursday 30 July for a special Library Open Day and experience the following:
- Doors to the Creation Space will be open to all ages between 10am–3pm*, drop-in to explore and try out the many creative technologies on offer (*please note that LEGO Challenge drop-in will run as normal from 3–5pm)

Join us for The Great Library Adventure Storytime from 10.30am and learn all about what libraries are and how they work, what librarians do and the ways that libraries contribute to our community

Discover new areas of the library by participating in the Library Passport Challenge between 10am–5pm. Win a prize when you collect all the stamps

- 10–11am - Local Studies
- 11–11.30am - Ask the Manager
- 11.30am–12.30pm - eLibrary resources
- 12.30–1.30pm - Adult programming
- 1.30pm–2pm - Ask the Manager
- 2–3pm - Collections
- 3–4pm - Multicultural services
- 4–5pm - Children's
