Acknowledgement of Country Youth Workshop

Learn about Welcome to Country and Acknowledgement of Country with Aunty Suzie from the Gaimaragal Group.

Young people will learn about what they are, how they differ and why they are an important custom to observe for our community. Together we’ll help create a Acknowledgement of Country to Borogegal and Cammeraygal people where Mosman Youth Centre is located that we can use for programs and events in the space moving forward. 

The workshop is for high school aged young people and those in Year 6. The workshop will be a combination of learning and creative expression, and will be hosted during the Mosman Youth Autumn Holiday Program. Young people are welcome to drop into the centre from 11am.

This event is part of NSW Youth Week events happening across the North Shore.
