Learn about life in the harbour by exploring Mosman rockpools. Led by a marine biologist, you will have the chance to discover some of the animals that are found along the Mosman foreshore. You will have the chance to get up and close with some of the animals that make up the rocky intertidal zone, and learn how the animals interact together.
“We go rockpooling regularly but still learned loads. And the kids loved it.”
“Great to see what we find in our 'backyard'. Love doing anything outdoor educational with the kids.”
Suitable for all ages, although children must be accompanied by an adult and be comfortable walking on uneven rock platforms.
All participants must be comfortable walking on wet and uneven surfaces (this includes children). Not suitable for people in wheelchairs or with walking aids.
We ask that if you have attended a previous Rockpool Ramble run by Mosman Council/Living Mosman that you let other people attend this event, as Rockpool Ramble format and program is the same every time.
This event is proudly organised by Mosman Council as part of the Living Mosman programs to promote our foreshore biodiversity.
The location of the event will be provided to attendees closer to the day.
