Dinosaurs Make Boredom Extinct At Taronga Zoo Sydney

Make boredom extinct this summer at Taronga Zoo Sydney’s Rise of the Tarongasaurs, featuring 10 incredible, life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, including a fearsome and iconic Tyrannosaurus Rex, a vicious Raptor, and a spitting Dilophosaurus.

Families and big kids can follow the Dino Trail and be amazed by the huge moving, roaring and even spitting dinosaurs encountered, while learning about the dinosaurs that still walk among us.

Kids in particular will enjoy the twice-daily Dinosaur Keeper talks, a cool Fossil Dig activity and getting a selfie on the climbable Pachyrhinosaurus dinosaur.

Dinosaurs are included for free with Taronga Zoo Sydney entry, but the dinosaurs can be seen only until 3 February 2019, when they once again become extinct.

Taronga Zoo Sydney tickets purchased online at Taronga.org.au are discounted 10% compared to the gate price. If families plan to visit the Zoo more than twice a year then a Taronga Zoo Friends annual membership is a great way to see our animals and dinosaurs again and again. Taronga Zoo has revolutionised memberships so that when one adult or a concession annual pass is purchased, you can nominate two children to join you for free! Taronga Zoo is a not-for-profit organisation so each Zoo Friends membership supports our wildlife conservation programs. 365 days of unlimited entry for one adult and two children to Taronga Zoo & Taronga Western Plains Zoo now costs just $110 at the gate or $99 online.
