How long has it been since you had a good laugh? We all know how good we feel after having a good laugh, but did you know that medical studies have proven that intentional laughter has positive mental, physiological, emotional, social and spiritual benefits?
Join us for our first ever Laughter Group Workshop. Laughter reduces stress, boosts positivity and strengthens the immune system while giving you an effective aerobic exercise.
A typical laughter session runs for an hour and can be done seated or standing and includes a combination of the following exercises:
- gentle breathing and stretching
- rhythmic clapping exercises
- playful laughter exercises that reduce inhibitions and shyness and convert simulated laughter into natural spontaneous laughter
- positive affirmations
- laughter meditation and guided relaxation
