Now & Forever: Preserving Personal Memorabilia with Kay Söderlund, Director, Preservation Australia

Tired of yellow sticky tape keeping granny's wedding certificate together? What are those brown spots on your watercolour? Not sure what to do?

Kay Söderlund, Director, Preservation Australia will be presenting one of her popular workshop on caring for precious memorabilia. A professional conservator, Kay will share her valuable knowledge on protecting and extending the life of your family memorabilia, providing solutions on how to preserve, store and display your precious items.

With a focus on paper based items including photographs, artworks, letters, postcards, newspaper clippings and posters you will gain an understanding of the basic foundations of material conservation. Those attending are invited to bring along an item which has seen better days. These will be assessed and a possible solution offered.
