Nappy Collective

Did you know? The average baby will use about 2,900 nappies a year!

Wanted: Unused, clean disposable nappies for donation!

Has your baby or toddler grown out of a size of nappy part way through a packet of nappies? Have you tried a new brand which didn’t suit your child? The Nappy Collective is a Not for Profit, community based organisation run entirely by volunteers. They collect unused disposable nappies from the community and distribute to organisations that support families in crisis or in need such as women’s crisis shelters and refuges, mothers facing homelessness, parenting support organisations and community organisations.

Mosman Council is supporting The Nappy Collective this May with two public collection points, located at the Drill Hall and Barry O’Keefe Library. Nappies are a basic healthcare need and lack of sufficient nappies can lead to an array of problems for disadvantaged families. So when you donate your spare nappies, you help these families to focus more of their time and energy on getting their lives back on track.
